Learn more about Merrill Brook Slopeside Condos
These slopeside condominiums are seen by thousands of Sunday River skiers who may not realize they are residential units. Two of the buildings in the complex are slopeside at the South Ridge Lodge. The buildings host Sunday River Resort commercial space underneath for the Perfect Turn and River Runner programs. The lucky owners in the units above these buildings enjoy a birds-eye view of the happenings in the South Ridge base area, including watching the skiers and riders boarding the Chondola or Lift 2, the South Ridge quad. The third building is just a short walk across the Skiway Road and are located over Sunday River’s daycare, Someday Bigger. The building layouts are best described as pods, in which there are two units of a single short hallway. The hallway has an owner’s closet for each condominium and additional ski storage is available the building entries. They vary in size from 720 square feet for a one-bedroom to 1,120 square feet for a two-bedroom. While the two-bedrooms were built with one bath, some have been renovated to include a second bath, and others have even added a third bedroom as the upstairs is an ample size. The building over the daycare also boasts lovely slope views and are prime locations for snowmaking or fireworks viewing. All of the units were built with wood-burning fireplaces. Merrill Brook has a coin-operated laundry in the basement. It does not have its own pool complex; owners may opt to join the Brookside Condominium Association to access its pool amenities. The buildings were constructed in 1984-1985. Owners who wish to rent nightly or weekly may do so through Sunday River Resort.
